World Wildlife Day – March 3, 2025

On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, the Kurdistan Photo Organization, in collaboration with Reema Organization and the Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization (KAPO), organized an awareness activity at Kurdistany Gawra School to celebrate the richness of wildlife in Kurdistan and promote respect for animals and the environment.

The event included the opening of a photo gallery showcasing extraordinary images of wild animals native to Kurdistan, offering students and attendees a visual journey into the natural heritage of the region. In addition, a monodrama performance was presented to highlight the global significance of World Wildlife Day and the urgent need to protect wild animals and their habitats.

As part of the program, KAP Organization distributed an informative book about animals to the participants and delivered an educational speech on the importance of wild animals to the environment and the overall ecosystem.

During the event, KAP Organization also proposed to Mr. Hassan Sarteep Jaf, Director General of Educational Programs, the integration of a new course into the educational curriculum focusing on the careful and healthy interaction between humans, animals, and the environment.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of the participating organizations to fostering awareness and responsibility toward wildlife among younger generations.
