Rescue Operation by Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization: Saving a Puppy Trapped in a Sewer

On 2024-04-04 the Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization received an urgent call from an animal lover reporting a distressing case: a puppy had fallen into a deep sewer approximately 5-6 meters deep and had been trapped there for three days. Upon receiving the report, the organization immediately sprang into action.

Under the leadership of Farman Fadhil Hasan, CEO of the organization, a rescue team was dispatched to the location, equipped with a crane and other necessary tools to safely retrieve the puppy. Mr. Farman coordinated the operation seamlessly, ensuring that every step was taken to prioritize the safety and well-being of the animal.

Before starting the rescue, it was observed that the puppy’s mother was standing near the edge of the sewer, visibly distressed and crying for her trapped offspring. This heartbreaking scene further motivated the team to work swiftly and efficiently.

After a challenging effort, the team successfully rescued the puppy and reunited it with its mother.

This rescue operation highlights the critical role that animal welfare organizations play in responding to emergencies and saving lives. The Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization remains committed to its mission of protecting and caring for animals in need.
