From Captivity to Freedom – The Story of a Resilient Baby Wolf

From Captivity to Freedom – The Story of a Resilient Baby Wolf

On September 9, 2024, our team at Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization rescued a baby wolf from individuals attempting to exploit him for profit. When we received him, he was in critical condition—suffering from severe malnutrition, mange, and an alarming amount of weight loss.
Despite the odds, our dedicated team provided around-the-clock care, nutrition, and medical treatment for over seven months. Today, we are thrilled to share that this resilient soul has made a full recovery and will soon be released back into his natural habitat where he belongs.
This rescue is a reminder of why our mission matters
every life counts, and every act of protection makes a difference.
