Promoting safe and respectful interaction with domestic and wild animals

Promoting safe and respectful interaction with domestic and wild animals

On 4th of October 2024 Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization arranged an event for Orphanage children in Erbil to celebrate (world animal day) and provide awareness about how to treat animals in the right way especially by children. This important event is registered in the World Animal Day Organization as one of the significant activities done for animals. The event started with a seminar presented by Dr. Shilan Hameed from Tishk International University about animals and their rights and a presentation presented by Mr. Gashbin from Hasar Organization. Also the writer Mrs. Delnia Ahmad helped us and distributed many gifts, books and notebooks over the children. Certificates of appreciations are given to the volunteers of the organization for their infinite support. The event was ended by preparing a lunch for the children which it made them feel more close to our organization. We believe that the event reached its goal for giving the idea of planting good behavior inside our children for treating animals in the right way and be aware about them. We support our children so they support us in the future.
