Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization Responds to Dog Attack

Following the tragic dog bite incident that resulted in a fatality on April 22, 2025, the Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization (KAPO) was interviewed by ESTA News Channel. Farman Fadhil, CEO and President of the organization, expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, emphasizing that he is a person with great compassion for animals and that he personally knew the victim.

During the interview, he stressed the urgent need for governmental support to facilitate the approval processes for KAPO’s upcoming projects that will result in expanding the organization’s neutering capacity is critical to addressing the rising stray dog population across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
