In a recent interview on WAR TV, Farman Fadil Hasan, a well-known and dedicated animal lover, shared his inspiring journey of rescuing and caring for stray animals. Although not his official profession, Farman has taken it upon himself to address the growing issue of neglected and distressed animals in his community. He explained that while the government is doing its part, the overwhelming demand for animal rescue often leads to some animals being overlooked. This is where Farman and his team step in.
With a team of 52 volunteers, Farman operates daily to rescue stray animals, particularly dogs and cats, that are injured, distressed, or involved in accidents. His deep love for animals drives him to personally fund many of these efforts, ensuring that no animal in need is left behind. The team is spread across various neighborhoods, where they monitor the well-being of stray animals, provide food, and offer immediate care.
When the team encounters an animal in poor health, they immediately contact Farman. Depending on the severity of the case, he either provides on-site treatment or arranges for the animal to be transferred to a veterinary clinic for further care. In addition to treatment and surgery, the animals are also neutered to help control the stray population. Once the animals have fully recovered, they are released back into their natural environment.
Farman’s unwavering commitment to animal welfare serves as a powerful reminder of the impact one individual can make. His efforts not only save lives but also inspire others to take action and contribute to the well-being of animals in their communities.
