About Us

Kurdistan Animal Protection Organization is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the welfare and protection of animals, with a primary focus on stray animals in Kurdistan, located in northern of Iraq. Established in 2022 , our organization continues its unwavering commitment with the invaluable support of both local and international volunteers. These dedicated individuals strongly advocate for the belief that animals deserve care, respect, and protection. At KAP, our mission is to cultivate awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of animals through a series of ongoing seminars and events. Additionally, we provide essential medical care for animals that have suffered from violence or accidents, and we actively engage in feeding the growing population of stray animals, which has seen a significant increase in our country in recent years.
